A pair of Victorian continental solid silver salts. The salts have a lower half ribbed design. The upper half is fretwork and have two empty cartouches. Each salt have two handles and sits on four padded feet.
On the base of each salt has continental hallmarks, and are complete with British hallmarks. Lion Passant - Sterling Silver. Assay - Leopards Head - London.
Date Letter - O - 1889. Makers Mark - TG - Thomas Glase. 140 mm long x 80 mm wide x 55 mm high. The condition of the salts are good for there 132 years. The hallmarks are easily read.The bowls do rock slightly when on a solid surface. Any marks are commensurate with age and use. Please Note - I endeavour to describe my items as.
